St Michael's is a beautiful heritage listed building in the heart of the city, complete with a welcoming warmth and ambience unsurpassed.

It is accepting of all couples regardless of religious beliefs and previous marital experience.

The wedding ceremony includes all you need for an occasion that is dignified, meaningful and, above all, joyful.

The wedding ceremony lasts for approximately 30 minutes, depending on how many readings you choose, the length of your music, etc.

When can we get married?
The church is available for weddings throughout the year except for Sundays before 2.00 pm, Holy Week (the week immediately preceding Easter), Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and public holidays.

It is important to reserve the church as early as possible to ensure the date and time you require.

The minimum booking period is eight weeks before the wedding. This allows time to meet with the Marriage Minister and organise the necessary paperwork for your wedding.
